When she first meets Liam, a self-employed construction business owner, by pure chance, their relationship doesn't start out friendly. But after he rescues her from certain death, Sam begins to warm to him. Their friendship becomes deeper, and eventually, love blossoms. It isn't long before Liam proposes.

As happy as Sam and Liam are, though, someone sinister lurks in the shadows to tear the newlyweds' life together apart. A man from Sam's past and her late husband's secrets begin to terrorize her. As the threats escalate, the couple gets local law enforcement involved. But will it be enough to protect the life and love they have made together, or will Sam's dream of a happy ending be crushed?
