We covered over 100+ disease states straight from the BCPS content outline provided by BPS and included important pearls for each condition including assessments, risk factors, most commonly used drugs of choice, must know adverse effects, miscellaneous clinical pearls, notorious drug interactions, warnings, and precautions, and of course, relevant labs. I wanted to cover each disease state in 1-2 pages to try to ensure you are reviewing the most relevant content. We did go over 2 pages on some disease states, but we did our best to keep the information concise and critical for you to know in your preparation for becoming a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist. The book is over 300+ pages, but it is in bullet point format and very easy to digest multiple disease states at a sitting. There is also some white around the margins to take additional notes or highlight essential information to remember. As many of you are aware of the content outline, the BCPS exam is not all clinical. In addition to the disease states on the BCPS content outline, we've also included sections on biostatistics as well as important regulatory issues. I can assure you that there is no doubt this book will help in your preparation for becoming a BCPS pharmacist!
