Righteousness Speaks James Edward

Righteousness means "right standing". We were once enemies to God, but now because of the work of Christ on the cross we are the righteousness of God in Christ. Or in modern day vernacular we are friends with God, no longer enemies. So now that we are friends with God we should also say what God says. In any situation we should look at our lives and line our words up with God has said about that situation. In 1 Peter 2:24 Jesus says you are healed. What are you going to say? In 2 Corinthians 8:9 Paul (writing under the influence of the Holy Spirit) says you are rich. What are you going to say. God's word is true and He says in Romans 3:4 "let every man be a liar, but God's word be true". Instead of looking at life and repeating what you see. Dare to look to the word of God and speak life to your life.
