Creativity may be one way we rise above the animals, but barriers to creative energies is the rule rather than the exception despite our advantage in intellect and the control of extraordinary motor skills. Barriers may be acquiesced to, found in abundance in daily life. One of the many external barriers is propaganda, in its many forms, which turns open inquiry andnaction into formulaic responses and dry products. An enemy of creative thought is often the barrier of mental mazes erected within our own minds. Stepping outside of social, psychological and intellectual barriers may rekindle and de-maze creativity.
