A Navy SEAL team on its way to destroy a drug cartel storage facility is ambushed on its way. Someone has leaked information on the raid to the Cartel. NCIS is tasked with finding and stopping the leak. The cartel kidnaps the Secretary of the Navy out of revenge for the raid. Strike Team Alpha is tasked with getting the Secretary back.
