When 13-year-old Kyle Jackson moved into a new neighborhood, he just wanted to live a typical teenage life. He became good friends with the school nerd, Johnny Walker, and tried to help him become a hip popular kid. Kyle also tried out for the track team and began dating a beautiful cheerleader named Claudia. Kyle's life was perfect until Claudia's ex-boyfriend sought revenge and thrust Kyle into mortal danger. Kyle discovers that Merlin, the legendary wizard from King Arthur's time, is living next door. Unwittingly, Claudia's ex has destroyed an object of magic that has kept Merlin alive all these years. Now Kyle and his friends must find a talisman that will save Merlin's life. But Morgana, the evil witch who wishes to kill Merlin, has other ideas. Author Ron Moss lives in Arleta, California, where he works in corporate security for Farmers Insurance. His battle with dyslexia rendered him illiterate, but he overcame this obstacle, taught himself to read, and found his love of writing. He is currently working on his next book titled A Small Act of Kindness.
