Agnes was the typical girl, raised at a time in America in which her generation looked forward to the mythical age of Aquarius; a time of peace and love of all mankind. They craved equality, acceptance, openness and a sharing of the earth's bounty. As reality creeped in, with so many young men losing their lives unnecessarily in the war in Vietnam, Agnes became disillusioned with her parents, America and any possible purpose man might have on the planet. In rejecting the perceived callus greed of her parent's generation, Agnes made choices that resulted in isolation from her parents and a need to hold secrets from those who might wreak havoc in her life. This story demonstrates the marvelous ways in which the Universe provides the lessons we humans need for growth and the situations in which we can begin to untangle the very human messes we make.
