Former L. A. police detective, Bear Huff, is moving to St. Augustine, Florida to retire in the city where his younger sister, Gloria Huff lives. When the daughter of one of Gloria's co-workers commits suicide after being bullied, the girl's brother tries to get revenge. But his plans for revenge backfire and Bear is forced to come to his rescue. Not only does Bear have to find out what Jeremy did to get revenge for his sister's death, but he has to discover who is now trying to blame a serious crime, a terrorist attack, on the young surfer. Bear must track the person who is after Jeremy and find out who is behind the scenes before multiple people end up dying. One woman's bullying could lead to the death of many if Bear doesn't figure out who is responsible. So much for retirement.
