Based on a true story, a young Native American Indian boy struggles with racism and bullying regarding his identity. He finds support and guidance in his family and strong heritage. Determined to write a book to help other kids, T. Hatfield wrote the story himself and began the illustrations when he was just 7 years old, after classmates bullied him.
