Our aim with this book is to guide a new student pastor through some important basics that will help lay the groundwork for a successful and sustainable ministry. The information will also be useful to the experienced yet "stuck" student pastors who want to tweak or completely change their ministry structure and goals. Our experience with "start up" student ministries and our relationships with other student pastors have taught us principles that we feel are worth sharing. Essentially, we want to share everything we wished we would have known in the beginning, and the things that have excelled and caused setbacks to our ministries.
