AUTHOR'S NOTERosie is not an extraordinary dog (but dont tell her that.) She is smart, energetic, playful and loving, like 99% of everyone's dog. Rosie is more than a dog, she is a member of our family, just like 99% of everyone's dog. This does not mean she is suited for a month-long Journey across the USA in a Prius with sometimes 12-hour days. She was happier and her welfare was much better served by staying with her friends at "A Lucky Dog" in Loomis CA. That doesn't mean we didn't want Rosie with us on our Journey. I decided to continue our normal conversations and imagine our Journey as if we had taken her with us. Herein lies Rosie's Journey to "There And Back Again."
