Dot decides to give Christmas gifts to children who may not receive any this year. She and her horse Finn set out on a snowy Christmas Eve to visit as many children in the country side as they can. When they return home, her family wonders how old Finn and Dot are able to deliver so many presents. What they don't know is Dot and Finn share a secret to their success. Dot looses the shoes Papa made her while riding Finn home that night. They are found many years later in an antique shop. The Oma, who buys the shoes, with red windmills and the name Dot on them, places the shoes under her Christmas tree. Her grandchildren start to find small presents in them and begin to look for Dot whenever they come to visit. The story of Dot's Shoes, remind us the gifts of kindness and Christmas magic always surround us. We only need to open our heart to experience them.
