War is about people, those who die and those who remember. The Parting Glass tells the stories of five men and women who lived through the war that did not end all wars. The book was originally written as a performance piece to be staged by small theatre groups and schools during the centenary of the 1918 Armistice. The stories are taken, in part, from the experiences of real people.
