This is a collection of Christopher Bradbury's poems and verse. It covers a multitude of topics from death to flatulence, from the excessive ingestion of wildlife to the loneliness of loss, from freedom of speech to the tragedy of the Woodworm Wars. It's not all serious and it's not all fun, but there is always more than just the words on the page. There is something for everyone, young and old, man, woman and child, for those who prefer wine wars with pigs to the questioning of mortality and for those who prefer a slightly black lining to their silver cloud or a rainbow to rainfall. But, ultimately, it's about the words, those little seedlings that come to life fed by the water of imagination and nourished by a deep-seated need to express.
