Harris Bartholemew has a secret. He can turn living flesh into gold. Jennifer Sproul is a woman with problems. Her life has been screwed up by her architect husband's past drug issues and lack of status at his firm. She would like her husband to disappear, but if she divorces him, she's likely to get nothing. She needs a solution. While on a run, she watches as three muggers attack Harris Batholemew in a cemetery while visiting his wife's grave. He reaches out and touches each of them, turning them into statues and she gets an idea. An evil idea to use Harris to achieve her goals. She follows Harris as he escapes the cemetery and when he confronts her, she tells him she knows his secret. Jennifer is no dummy, she knows Harris can be rid of her with just a touch, but she's willing to chance it. She threatens to expose him if he doesn't help her.

Harris wants no part in her murderous scheme, but how will he get out of it and remain anonymous?
