During the last year of his undergraduate study of economics and finance, and his year in postgraduate study, Jonathan McEvoy wrote about economics, finance, futurism, philosophy, and politics during a very turbulent time which encompassed massive elections in the US and Europe, a cryptocurrency bubble, and a massive heaving in society and ideological warfare, to try and understand what has been going on. Inspired by writers such as George Orwell and Fyodor Dostoevsky, this Irish students take on the world around him is what this compilation of essays is about at its essence.
