It isn't really an affair if it's all via a mobile phone, is it?

Tiffany is married to a good and faithful man, but daydreams about the carefree days of her single life, the thrill of her first love, and the passion that seems to have faded. A chance encounter with old flame Martin, and the possibilities her new mobile phone offers now mean that she can enjoy feeling young and desired again, and it isn't really cheating if you're just texting; not really.

With the new technology of the Nokia 3310, Tiff finds thrilling new opportunities for secret conversations and harmless flirtation, all from the comfort of her own home, although in an age before the advent of emojis and smartphones, all she has are punctuation marks to hint at unspoken meanings via crude: -D smiley faces, or sometimes other, more... suggestive keystrokes.

Tiffany still loves her husband Nick, and she'd never consider leaving him. Certainly not for the one-time love of her life, the man that broke her heart once before. This is just an innocent(ish) distraction. It could never become anything else, could it?

tEXt me was inspired by the movie Brief Encounter, but is set in an era of simple modern technology, and slightly dubious morals.
