poems by Nha Thuyen. iTranslating Feminisms/i showcases intimate collaborations andconversations between some of Asias most exciting women writers andemerging-star translators contemporary poetry of labour and language,alongside essays exploring how, where and by whom feminist writing and femalebodies are translated. For us at Tilted Axis Press, feministpublishing means working against the fetishisation of oppression and demandsthat authors explicitly subscribe to what white women recognise as feminism, oreven foreground their femaleness in their work. We work towards ensuring that thewomen we publish have the creative
