Janice Larson Braun grew up in northeastern Minnesota. After a forty-year hiatus in St. Cloud, where she taught English at both Apollo and Tech High School, she has returned to the Northwoods. She lives north of Park Rapids on a lake where she can kayak and ski and go for long walks with the dog.
