Brighter Days is a collection of four music compositions (Brighter Days for soprano and piano, The Call for flute and piano, Help for two sopranos and one alto, and Light for soprano and alto) composed by Barbra Akombo, currently a music student at Kenyatta University in Nairobi, Kenya. As she writes in her Preface to the book, "music is indeed a tool for human expression. Not only does it bring joy but it invigorates the soul."
