How does a follower of Christ remain resolute in a world where one's character is continually under pressure to compromise and crumble? In The Character Quest, you'll discover nine character traits that will ensure a life of significance and usefulness. The Character Quest can be used for personal study or in a small-group format. Mark Yule is one of the founding pastors of Highlands Church in north Scottsdale - a non-denominational bible church. Started in 1998 from eighteen people, Highlands Church is a growing congregation of approximately two thousand. Mark currently has responsibilities as the connection pastor and oversees the men's ministries. In addition, Mark serves as the chaplain for the Scottsdale Fire Department. Married for over forty years, Mark and his wife Mary Beth have raised two sons and now enjoy the adventure and enrichment of keeping tabs on eight grandchildren. Together, Mark and Kat Osten have co-authored three other books for discipleship under than banner of "My Deeper Walk" - "A Firm Foundation," "Who Am I?" and "Who is God". In addition they have co-authored a study entitled, "Man of God" which examines fourteen Psalms written by David. All of these books are biblically-based studies designed for the person who wants to take their Christian faith deeper and then help others do the same.
