This year's summer vacation from school is going to be very different for siblings Fernando and Clara, as they they will live and travel with their parents aboard the family sailboat named "Volar." Fernando and Clara have different feelings about this summer long trip and challenge themselves when they meet a friendly boy in Panama who is always curious and helpful. Richard Lauridsen has created a two volume chapter book series to take beginner level Spanish learners on an adventure story about the potential of cooperation and learning. The author is a World Language teacher who has created Spanish resources for various ages of students and levels of Spanish learners.
