Yet the simple act of covering your mouth when you sneeze and washing your hands often can prevent colds and flu from infecting us. The Sneeze is a story of how a king of a fairy tale kingdom sneezes and does not cover his mouth. A king germ escapes, multiplies and infects the entire kingdom. Doctors and nurses rush to defend the sick. The kingdom recovers and the king learns his lesson. This may be art depicting life but written as a poem for children and complete with a song and colorful illustrations. The Sneeze is an enjoyable and fun read for parents, family and teachers to convey this simple yet important message to children.
