Captain Mallgran and the pyrates have won their battle to create the independent nation of Pyratia. But King Angoran of Brellonia and King Masidl of Fretellone have no intention of letting a "bunch of brigands" interfere with their quests for power and fortune. Meanwhile Prince William tries to push the rebellion forward with hopes of unseating his brother Angoran, and returning Brellonia to a nation for all her people. Civil war, a killer storm, and a host of royal wrong doings abound as Mallgran and his people deal with "all the kings' men."
