Since my family members and myself have been long-time residents of Northern Ky., (mostly of the Covington and Erlanger area); I have become interested in the histories of these immediate locales. No, I am not a professional historian in the matter of degree - just a citizen with a definite curiosity of her hometown and its origins of so many things. Within this text I have compiled some things of relevance to these locations in public records, internet websites and images where available. Knowing one's personal history as in genealogy is good. But delving into the sea of histories of your lifetime of family, friends and surroundings is interesting also. At least those of like-mindedness think so!
