This is an autobiography of two octogenarians, written by the surviving husband after sad demise of his wife only a few days ahead of their coveted Golden Jubilee of their Wedding Day. Their long span of life passed through many memorable world events like World War II, famine of 1943, and Hindu-Muslim riot in 1946 in India, India's independence in 1947, landing of man on Moon and planning to land on Mars, invention of computers and mobile phones, emergency rule in 1976 in India, large outsourcing by USA in India to boost Indian economy with big monetary jump, demonetisation of currency notes in 2016 to stop inflow of black money with strict control and effect of all such events on the commoners.
