Leah teaches her readers to look deeper than their eyes can see and they'll quickly learn that she is many other things. This book aims to boost self-esteem and self-awareness in girls of color. It seeks to help young girls who look like her appreciate their beauty, inside and out, while encouraging others to do the same.
