As the global economy continues to expand, so does the demand for information. This information needs to be plentiful, diversified, instant, sprinkled and mobile, all at the same time. These mounting demands have proven difficult for existing network capacity, coverage and range also. And this reduces an organizations ability to evolve with changing business and workforce needs. Wireless networks are best suited to meet these challenges because they are resilient, scalable, mobile and cost-effective. It facilitates the network with high-speed, high quality data, voice and video communication, even when users are on the move. The rapid growth of WIFI in the home, enterprise and public hotspot market has given users and service providers alike a new glimpse into what wireless connectivity can deliver, through a single interface, in multiple locations. WIFI realizes the vision of broadband connectivity within the LAN (Local Area Network) and has easy way for new wireless technologies that can deliver the same experience in the MAN (Metropolitan Area Network) and in the WAN (Wide Area Network).
