The coronavirus pandemic has made visible a new universal order that determines a growing selective geopolitics, aimed at generating specific ways of thinking and feeling, without considering the planetary consequences. The inadequate use of the technological and scientific developments, the proterious interests of the economic power in a predatory, consumerist and selfish attitude have deteriorated the vital communion with our fellow men and women and the other manifestations of nature. In the present state of things, the fundamental challenge must be taken up with speed, intimate conviction and solidarity: Humanize and Immunize. HumanizeIn terms of strengthening respect and recognition of fundamental rights as a counterpart to exclusion, stigma, social extermination and indifference in the face of other pandemics: generalized violence, poverty, famine, lack of solidarity, impunity, injustice and corruption, among others. ImmunizeWe must not only face the epidemiological perspective but also the ideological manipulations and abuse of power that justify the globalized sociopathy, assuming the historical commitment that as planet inhabitants has been imposed on us.
