Strategic prayer is one that requires some level of knowledge and skills. The expertise needed for this kind of prayer can be acquired through study, practice, and observation. There are basically two types of strategic prayers namely defensive, also known as "Intercession," and offensive, called "Warfare." Intercession and spiritual warfare is like boxing and wrestling, which are both combat sports but differ in the rules of the game. You have to understand the rules and play by them to win in boxing, while in wrestling anything is allowed, provided you don't break the neck of your opponent. You will be disqualified when you break the rules in boxing, but you can defeat your opponent either by tricks or skills in wrestling. Just as boxing differs from wrestling in many ways, though they are both combat sports, intercession and spiritual warfare also have similarities and differences - one is a ministry and defensive prayer, while the other is an art and offensive prayer. This book explains the similarities and differences between these two branches of strategic prayer. It also provides some hints on how to be more effective either as a Prayer Warrior or an Intercessor.
