We've just received some surprising news from the Cummings camp," the reporter states. "Lets' turn now to Allenhurst Cummings. He's about to make a big announcement." The cameraman points the camera at the home of the Republican mayoral candidate who's standing on the front porch of his Tracy Drive home with Marionne Aceworth. Cheyenne and Vallow look at each other, wondering what this is all about. Cheyenne goes over to the television, turns up the volume, his eyes never leaving the screen as he finds his spot again on the sofa next to his wife. They're both on the edge of their seats. Their food getting colder by the minute. Who can eat at a time like this?"I wish to announce that Marionne Aceworth has endorsed me as candidate for mayor of Suffolk," Allenhurst says, unemotionally and nonchalantly. Then he turns to Marionne, smiles weakly, and allows her to take center stage. This is her cue to speak. They shake hands. She steps up to the microphone. "I have decided to drop out of the race for mayor. I believe Allenhurst Cummings is a more experienced, knowledgeable, and fitting candidate. Therefore, I wish to throw my energy and resources behind him. Thank you very much."
