The Laudermere girls are three best friends (and cousins) who are also vampires. They live in the town of Laudermere which is rich in magical history. The story is written based on Rosaleigh Hart's diaries. Rosaleigh (Rose) is a kind-hearted, brave little girl who faces off with bullies with the help of her best friends Lylah and Charlotte. In the first book of three, Rose and the girls meet Josiah (Josie). Josie is a new girl at school who is being teased for looking different. The girls soon learn that Josie is different in ways most people can't see.
