The PGCS (Practical Guide for Career Students) written out of career studying experience is a book prepared to guide students on what-to-do and how-to-do-them in order to achieve an excellent academic discipline record. It is also a guide for First Degree holders who want to move their first degree academic discipline success into a career job success. The book is pragmatic in application and it is categorized into four chapters, which are PGCS 1, 2, 3 and 4. PGCS 1 focuses on the foundation in which academic discipline must be built upon. The foundation involves the necessary conditions and knowledge of building academic discipline in different stages. It was developed for everyone who is working towards the establishment of academic discipline or making choice of field of studies. PGCS 2 focuses on how every student at the Senior Secondary level can begin the building of his/her academic discipline. Following the practical teaching of this chapter, students are on the way of giving birth to their academic discipline and as well starts its building. PGCS 3 focuses on how every student at the Tertiary level and even those about to join the level can grow their academic discipline in order to achieve excellent record. PGCS 4 is a practical guide for post graduate level and that of field of works. It is prepared for employed and unemployed graduates with the focus on how those who has graduated from their first degree or HND can develop their academic career to the level of job career in order to gain competitive advantage in the labour market.
