An Iranian farming experiment went horribly wrong. Now the earth is fighting zombies instead of having an abundance of food. This book starts the day the apocalypse started sweeping across America and follows an Air Force Captain and his girlfriend as they try to escape from the city that is overrun with zombies in search of a safe place to live. On their way, they discover zombies aren't the only threat. Looters are everywhere now and they take no prisoners.
