Dear John Ted J Mallory

God is love. There is no fear in love. If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. With the death of George Floyd at the hand of police brutality in Minneapolis, it occured to me that we REALLY need some 1 John. Too many of us think that the only hate is hot-burning white-supremacist hate and fail to recognize that indifference and complacency are as hateful as contempt and being accomplices. How can we say we love God if we hate everyone who isn't in our political party, our denomination, our socio-economic group?
