Son Rise is the second poetry book by Active Contemplation. It is a book of 30 poems focusing on the ecstatic peace that can be received through grace from God. All of the poems deal with the salvation that comes at the end of the "dark night of the soul" when prayer is answered and the relief that is felt is greater than anything previously expected, experienced, or imagined. Active contemplation is a musician and a writer.
