Big Mike is a product of Generation "Z," the unstoppable generation. Mike believes his purpose in life is to respond to a high call from God as a "Good Samaritan." Big Mike gets his nickname from an incident that occurred in Elementary School when he rescued a fellow student from being harassed and targeted by a resident bully named Jimmy Beaker. Before Mike became "Big Mike," he wasn't always so eager to singlehandedly defend the weak and helpless from the hand of bullies. The intersection of being a child hero and someone who cowers in fear in the face of danger is the crux of the story.
