Who is POTUS1? George Washington was the Commander and Chief of the Continental Army. He signed the Constitution of the United States, and was our first president under the Constitution which he signed. Furthermore, if you abbreviate the first person who held that primary executive office as our first president of the United States it would be POTUS1. Our nation's capital is named after him. Along with his face being on our money. Also one of our states of the United States is named after him as well. There are many streets and monuments to this individual. It seems as though in 2020 that for all the good POTUS1 did, there is a shade or fading of Washington's legacy.
