Sadly we are living in a time where people are being attacked, bullied and being treated unfairly because of the color of their skin. Parents can sometimes struggle to teach their children this concept. In the Three Best Buddies series, we wanted to simplify this in a way a child can understand. Although race was not particularly mentioned in the stories, the three friends have different skin tones and they overcame hardships to not only become best friends but to also help other children, despite their situations. This children's coloring book is also a four part coloring book and it derives from The Three Best Buddies storybook collection. This coloring book is intended to be interactive between parent and child. As your child color you can take this opportunity to talk to your child about the issues facing our world today. This is a great opportunity to teach your child about kindness (because that is what the storybooks are all about) while they color. We hope you enjoy this coloring book.
