When Police Detective Emmanuel Ritter (Cosio) is tasked with investigating a mass killing he is reminded of his wife and son's death five years previously. As the killings continue and links are drawn to the supernatural Ritter meets with disgraced Catholic priest Father Canetti (Bell), whose cult following may be behind the spate of killings.
