In his first trio recording for Capri Records, pianist, composer and arranger Michael Pagan's "Three for the Ages" features two of Kansas City's most prominent Jazz musicians - bassist Bob Bowman and drummer Ray DeMarchi in a program of well-known standards, rare gems, and one original. The title track, which was written by Pagan especially for the date, is one of over 150 compositions and arrangements penned by the leader. Pagan has garnered wide critical acclaim as a Jazz pianist and composer for over two decades.
