Dressed in leather, brandishing heavy, and exhibiting an unabashed fetish for British Invasion pop, the Smithereens were an anomaly in the American college Rock scene of the late '80s. 'Blow up' is the fourth studio album by the Smithereens. It is a record, loaded with the drive and special avant-garde sixties flavor that makes The Smithereens so special.
