When Jessie Ware released the album What's Your Pleasure in 2020, she slowly gained status as a modern Disco icon. She had already established herself as a more traditional pop star on her debut Devotion from 2012, but experienced declining success on the two subsequent releases, until she became a frontrunner in the new disco-pop trend.
On her upcoming album That! Feels Good! she continues the trend with more sexy, sweaty and danceable pop tracks, and lead singles "Free Yourself" and "Pearls" are proof that she still holds the formula on how to create a masterful disco hit. It is evident that there is no one above or next to Jessie Ware in the genre right now!
