Mike°D's third opus « Insight « of his Ambient trilogy « Through my Eyes « and « Closer to the Heart » ( both albums are downloadable at the I Tunes Musicstore ) are Soundscapes that are musical mosaics, interweaving themes of various genres from classical to jazz fusion to new age, smoothly interacting and presenting the listener, in a concert form, an artistic sonic odyssey . The songs on this album create a journey for the listener through the depths of unfoldment that the author has experienced during the course of his life. There is an implied mystical journey on the artist's path to self realization. Insight is a distinctly Ambient/World fusion of Asian influences featuring Mike's talent on Piano, synths, guitar, Keyboards,reaching a various levels of intensity using at times improvisations ; but always orchestrated with a certain delicacy in a way to maintain the original mood of the song. Notice that this album will close the first trilogy of the ambient path of Mike°D, and that in the future, more projects are planned but with other musicians, and more focused on guitar, harp and female voices .
