Lobo was the pseudonym of Roland Lavoie, a '70's singer/songwriter who's first solo hit was "Me And You And a Dog Named Boo" (1971), which reached #5 in the U.S.; this was followed by "I'd Love You to Want Me" (#2) and "Don't Expect Me to Be Your Friend" (#8). Featuring a combination of Lobo's original recordings and new recordings, this album also highlights "Where Were You When I Was Falling in Love," "A Day in the Life of a Love," "Gus the Dancing Dog" and "Stoney."
