For years, author Alice Mohor has used her poetry to get children interested in history, literature and physical education. This simple yet revolutionary teaching tool has inspired hundreds of elementary school aged children to get in top physical and mental shape. This collection of poems, "Special Days," showcases her holiday work, both religious and secular, all written from a child's point of view. As any great teacher would, Alice strives for inclusion and has written poetry in celebration of holidays for various religions.
